Itinerary & program

The ice and weather situation decides where we will ice skate. We choose the area that provides the best ice skating conditions at the time. Accommodation is in the area and we sometimes stay at different locations to get the most out of your stay.

Day 1

Your guide picks you up at the airport in a minivan. Here we change to skating clothes and you will get the ice skating equipment. If possible we go directly for Nordic skating on a nearby lake or drive to the area there we will skate the day after. After installing ourselves in a hostel (or hotel) we will cook dinner together (or eat at the restaurant) and your guide will reveal the plans for the coming days.

Day 2

At breakfast we prepare our lunch packs and and fill up your thermos with a hot drink and pack them in the provided skating backpacks. After a short walk or ride in the minibus we will be on the ice! Guide first, checking the ice and navigating.

The speed and distance is adjusted to the group and the ice condition. Now and then we take short stops to admire the scenery, chat, or just rest. During the day we go ashore for lunch breaks or for walking to another lake nearby.

At the end of the day we head back to the hostel. Before dinner there is time to relax, talk about the day, or go to the sauna.

Day 3

Now you know the routine - Breakfast, pack your backpack and head out for new adventures on the ice! In the evening we might go for a ice skating trip in moonlight late if the conditions are right.

Day 4

We ice skate as long as we can before heading to the airport. On our way we stop for a shower and to grab something to eat. You will be well in time for your flight back home.
